With the rain pouring down in the days leading up to Nate and Wendy’s big day, I thought we would have to dive for cover but it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day.
Walking in to the hotel room there was a fair bit going on but the bride herself was very calm and collected. It’s strange how it’s not until you are ready to go that it hits you “wow, I am about to get married” and you get those butterflies in your stomach. You can see Wendy’s face become serious as she is deep in thought before leaving the hotel room.
It was such an honour to photograph Nate and Wendy’s wedding, they are absolutely beautiful people and I wish them all the joy in the world.
Thank you to Mary Wheatley from Mary Wheatley Photography for second shooting on the day. It was lovely to work with another photographer for the day.
